This wire brush set is cheap, but the brushes have a lot of bristles. Other cheap brushes I've bought only had an inch or two of bristles (not much more than a toothbrush), but these have a good 4 inches or so of bristles. I'm partial to the brass brushes since they won't scratch most metals, but it's nice to have the steel bristles for tougher jobs and the nylon bristles for gentler jobs.
